Make The Headline - Beat
The Deadline!
A small group of Year 7 and 8 students worked very hard all day on Thursday 13th
March with Mr Brennan, Ms Congreve and Mr Jarratt to produce a school newspaper in a day.
The newspaper is being entered for a national competition organised by the Times
Educational Supplement. There were over 1000 schools taking part in the competition.
The school has entered in the Key Stage 3 catergory and if we do well we will be
invited to accept an award certificate (either Credit, Merit, Commended, Highly Commended
or Distinction) in the House of Commons later this year.
